The Loft’s Wordplay will take place May 11–12, 2019 and aims to be Minnesota’s largest celebration of readers, writers, and great books. We want to make sure you get to be a part of it. Get your business or organization in front of book lovers, families, and community members by purchasing a spot in our exhibitor fair.
Due to limited space, we are accepting applications for our exhibitor slots. Applications are now open and close December 15th. We will notify exhibitors in early January 2019, and will take payment to secure spot at that time.
For every vendor type, the following applies.
-Tent in exhibitor area
-Table and two chairs
-Listing in exhibitor map
-Two Wordplay passes
-Your own insurance as needed
-Tax form (submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan to sell anything
-Signage and table coverings
$500 – Exhibitor (Includes colleges, universities, small businesses, nonprofits with annual budgets more than $2 million) (Limit of 30)
$250 – Nonprofit (annual budgets under $2 million)/Independent Artist (Limit of 30)
$250 – Author (Limit of 10, awarded on first come, first serve basis. Authors featured in the Wordplay schedule line-up cannot be an exhibitor; you can apply for both, but if you are chosen to be in the line-up, then your exhibitor application will not be considered.)
Please note: we will be prioritizing exhibitor applications that demonstrate the following: audience engagement, celebrating stories, community connections, local businesses/organizations.
Publishers/authors: you may not sell featured books on the Wordplay official schedule/line-up at your table. Featured books will only be sold by the featured booksellers.
